Dimming
The lamp is TRIAC dimmable (i.e. via a TRIAC wall dimmer). The lamp can be dimmed using both leading-edge and trailing-edge phase control. Use either a dimmer marked with the symbols R or L (for leading edge) on the packaging or with the symbol C (for trailing edge). We recommend choosing a universal dimmer suitable for both leading-edge (R, L) and trailing-edge (C) dimming to ensure maximum flexibility and compatibility. Such a dimmer is usually marked with R, L and C.

OLARA – Design, dimensions and light quality

OLARA is an LED ceiling light with two round lampshades for direct and indirect lighting.

The light combines iron with painted aluminum and is available in black or walnut. With two lampshades, each Ø 45 cm, it makes a clear design statement above a dining table or in a living area.

As a walnut ceiling light, it complements rooms with warm wood details, while the black version creates a high-contrast look. The hanging height is adjustable from 50 to 200 cm and adapts to different ceiling heights.

The warm white light can be dimmed continuously from 200 to 1734 lumens via a TRIAC wall switch. This allows the ceiling lamp in walnut or black to be set to subtle or bright, depending on use.

FAQ
1 Is there a money-back guarantee?

You have a 30-day right of return with us.

Return policy: In the event of a complaint, we will of course cover the return costs for you and refund the full amount.

As we are a young, self-financed company and already bear the shipping costs to you, unfortunately we cannot also cover the costs of a regular return. If you send your lamp back within 30 days, you will receive the refund amount minus the return shipping costs.

For a stress-free return process, you can simply register your return via our returns portal. There you can keep track of the current status of your return at any time.

2 Are the light sources included in the delivery?

Yes! The lamp comes with built-in LEDs and is ready to use right away. You don't need to buy any additional bulbs – you can simply mount the lamp and start using it. The LEDs have a very long lifespan of over 50,000 hours and are covered by our 3-year warranty.

3 Is it possible to buy the Olara individually?

No. The Olara is only available as specified and always comes with two lighting elements.

4 Is the Olara SmartHome capable?

Our lights are not smart home-compatible as standard. However, you can connect them to a smart home system. There are two different options here: 1. replace the installed transformer with a suitable Smart Home transformer: Make sure that the new transformer meets the technical requirements of the previous transformer. Our lights are controlled via constant current. The Smart Home system must therefore be designed for constant current luminaires. Constant voltage systems are not compatible with our luminaires. 2. replace the wall switch with a Smart Home-compatible TRIAC wall switch: Make sure that the wall switch fulfills the properties of the TRIAC transformer.

5 Where can I find the installation instructions for the Olara?

A card with a QR code is included in your delivery. This will take you to the assembly instructions.

6 Can the height of the two lighting elements of the Olara be adjusted individually?

Yes, you can adjust the height of the lighting elements separately. It is therefore possible to hang the lighting elements at different heights.

7 What are the technical specifications of the Olara's built-in cable?

The installed cable is 2-core with a conductor cross-section of 0.5 mm². It is cable type F829/VDE. The cable is rated for a maximum voltage of 300/500 V and is temperature-resistant up to 180 °C.
