Assembly

The luminaire arrives ready for installation and can be set up straight away. The LEDs are permanently integrated into the light so that no additional light sources are required. After unpacking, the light can be installed and put into operation immediately - simply connect and enjoy. Please note: Batteries for the remote control are not included in the scope of delivery. Recommended batteries: 2× button cells (e.g. CR2032, 3 V, 230 mA). You can find the installation instructions under "Instructions" - they are available for download there.

Switching on and off

You can conveniently switch the lamp on and off with the included remote control or a standard wall switch. Simply tap the “I” button on the remote control to switch the lamp on and the “O” button to switch it off. Alternatively, you can also switch it on or off with a regular wall switch.

Dimming

You can easily control the light using the touch remote control. This gives you maximum flexibility for customized lighting. Thanks to its stepless dimming function, you can adjust the light intensity as you wish. You can control the brightness via the top "DIMM" bar - either by swiping to the right (brighter) or left (darker), or by tapping the "+" or "-" symbols. Of course, the last setting is always saved when you switch the light off and on again. Convince yourself of the simple and convenient control and experience the perfect lighting experience. You can either stick or screw on the magnetic holder to attach the remote control flexibly to the wall.

PONTOS – Design, dimensions and light quality

The PONTOS is an LED wall light with a rotating spotlight and two-sided light output.

The 8 cm diameter sphere can be rotated 360 degrees and directs its light cones precisely onto the wall. This makes the light suitable for accent lighting in living and sleeping areas as well as for modern points of light in the hallway.

At 2700 K, the Neona wall light produces warm white light. The brightness can be dimmed continuously from 200 to 1000 lumens via remote control; the batteries for the remote control are not included.

Aluminum and glass characterize the compact design with overall dimensions of 12 × 8 cm. The light is mounted on a live wall outlet and is available in black chrome, chrome, nickel or white.

Neona Lampe Pontos mit Fernbedienung

Die Lampe macht einen sehr wertig Eindruck nur die Fernbedienung mit der Wandhalterung ist noch nicht so richtig zu Ende gedacht. Der abgewinkelte Steg, welcher sich am unteren Ende der Halterung befindet, müsste sich auch links und rechts der Halterung befinden. Da die Magnete in der Fernbedienung nicht allzu stark sind, rutscht diese beim Dimmen mit dem Finger auf dem Display entweder nach links oder rechts und die Gefahr des Herunterfallens verbunden mit einer Beschädigung der Fernbedienung ist gegeben. Also mein Vorschlag wäre entweder stärkere Magnete, um ein Verrutschen zu verhindern oder 3-seitig mit etwas Spiel abkanten, sodass man die Fernbedienung noch leicht aus der Halterung nehmen kann.

Azienda molto seria, la spedizione è avvenuta già l'indomani con un tracciato comunicato ad ogni passaggio fino a destinazione (Sicilia). Ottimo l'imballaggio e gli appliques sono custoditi in eleganti sacchetti; presenti le istruzioni ed i guanti per il montaggio. Manca la traduzione in italiano ma grazie ai traduttori ed i tutorial, risulterebbero di facile installazione. Speriamo bene dopo averli montati.

FAQ

1 Are the light sources included in the delivery?

Yes! The lamp comes with built-in LEDs and is ready to use right away. You don't need to buy any additional bulbs – you can simply mount the lamp and start using it. The LEDs have a very long lifespan of over 50,000 hours and are covered by our 3-year warranty.

2 Are the light sources replaceable?

The high-quality LEDs are permanently installed in the lamp. In our experience, however, it is usually the transformers rather than the LEDs themselves that are affected by defects in LED lamps. These can generally be replaced quickly. If you ever have any problems with this, we will of course be happy to help you.

3 Can I dim the light using the wall dimmer switch?

No, continuous dimming via a conventional wall dimmer switch is not possible.

The light can only be adjusted by quickly switching a wall rocker switch on and off several times to cycle through three fixed brightness levels (100% - 40% - 10%).

Important: The light cannot be converted to continuous dimming by replacing the transformer either, because the LEDs are technically not capable of it. If you connect it to a dimmer switch anyway, the transformer and the LEDs will be damaged.

4 Is Pontos SmartHome capable?

Our lights are not smart home-compatible as standard. However, you can connect them to a smart home system. To do this, you need to replace the installed transformer with a suitable Smart Home transformer. Make sure that the new transformer meets the technical requirements of the previous transformer. Our lights are controlled via constant current. The Smart Home system must therefore be designed for constant current luminaires. Constant voltage systems are not compatible with our lights. If you want to continue to adjust the color temperature (warm to cool white), the Smart Home transformer must be CCT-capable.

5 Is there a money-back guarantee?

You have a 30-day right of return with us.

Return policy: In the event of a complaint, we will of course cover the return costs for you and refund the full amount.

As we are a young, self-financed company and already bear the shipping costs to you, unfortunately we cannot also cover the costs of a regular return. If you send your lamp back within 30 days, you will receive the refund amount minus the return shipping costs.

For a stress-free return process, you can simply register your return via our returns portal. There you can keep track of the current status of your return at any time.

6 Does the Pontos have a memory function?

Yes, our remote lights have a memory function that can be used to save a setting. To activate it, you must wait at least 20 seconds between switching off and on using the wall switch. When operated with the remote control, the previous setting is always saved.

7 Where can I find the installation instructions for the Pontos?

A card with a QR code is included in your delivery. This will take you to the assembly instructions.

8 Can luminaires with IP20 be used in the bathroom?

Lights with protection rating IP20 may only be used in the bathroom outside the protected zones. This means they are not suitable for direct use in the shower or above the bathtub. In dry areas, for example in the middle of the room or on the ceiling, they can however be used. For added safety, we recommend lights with at least protection rating IP44 in the bathroom.
