Assembly

The luminaire arrives ready for installation and can be set up straight away. The LEDs are permanently integrated into the light so that no additional light sources are required. After unpacking, the light can be installed and put into operation immediately - simply connect and enjoy. Please note: Batteries for the remote control are not included in the scope of delivery. Recommended batteries: 2× button cells (e.g. CR2032, 3 V, 230 mA). You can find the installation instructions under "Instructions" - they are available for download there.

Switching on and off

You can conveniently switch the lamp on and off with the included remote control or a standard wall switch. Simply tap the “I” button on the remote control to switch the lamp on and the “O” button to switch it off. Alternatively, you can also switch it on or off with a regular wall switch.

Dimming

You can easily control the light using the touch remote control. This gives you maximum flexibility for customized lighting. Thanks to its stepless dimming function, you can adjust the light intensity and light color as desired. You can adjust the brightness via the upper "DIMM" bar - either by swiping to the right (brighter) or left (darker), or by tapping the "+" or "-" symbols. On the lower "TEMP" bar, you can set the color temperature - either by swiping to the right (warmer) or left (cooler), or by tapping the "+" or "-" symbols. Of course, the last setting is always saved when you switch the light off and on again. Convince yourself of the simple and convenient control and experience the perfect lighting experience. You can either stick or screw on the magnetic holder to attach the remote control flexibly to the wall.

FAQ

1 Is the KIRO dimmable?

Yes. With the remote control you dim the KIRO continuously and set the colour temperature between 2200 and 4000 K.

2 Is the light of the KIRO warm or cool?

Both. With the remote control, you can adjust the color temperature continuously between 2200 K (warm white) and 4000 K (neutral white).

3 Is the lamp smart home compatible?

Our lamps are not smart home compatible as standard. However, you can connect them to a smart home system. To do so, you need to replace the built-in transformer with a suitable smart home transformer. Make sure the new transformer meets the technical requirements of the existing one. Our lamps are controlled via constant current. The smart home system must therefore be designed for constant-current lamps. Constant-voltage systems are not compatible with our lamps. If you still want to adjust the color temperature (warm to cool white), the smart home transformer must be CCT-capable.

4 Is the lamp TRIAC dimmable?

Our lamps are not TRIAC dimmable as standard. But you can make them TRIAC dimmable. To do so, you need to replace the installed transformer with a suitable TRIAC transformer. Make sure the new transformer meets the technical requirements of the existing one. Our lamps are controlled via constant current. The TRIAC transformer must therefore be designed for constant-current lamps. Constant-voltage systems are not compatible with our lamps. In addition, the transformer must meet the minimum requirements of the LEDs (wattage and voltage). Please note that during installation you will then have to choose just one of cool white, warm white or neutral white (both LED colors mixed).

5 Are the light sources replaceable?

The high-quality LEDs are permanently installed in the lamp. In our experience, however, it is usually the transformers rather than the LEDs themselves that are affected by defects in LED lamps. These can generally be replaced quickly. If you ever have any problems with this, we will of course be happy to help you.

6 Can luminaires with IP20 be used in the bathroom?

Lights with protection rating IP20 may only be used in the bathroom outside the protected zones. This means they are not suitable for direct use in the shower or above the bathtub. In dry areas, for example in the middle of the room or on the ceiling, they can however be used. For added safety, we recommend lights with at least protection rating IP44 in the bathroom.

7 Is there a money-back guarantee?

Return policy: In the event of a complaint, we will of course cover the return costs for you and refund the full amount.

As we are a young, self-financed company and already bear the shipping costs to you, unfortunately we cannot also cover the costs of a regular return. If you send your lamp back within 30 days, you will receive the refund amount minus the return shipping costs.
