Installation

The lamp arrives ready to assemble and can be set up right away. The light source is already included in the delivery. You will find all the information you need in the installation guide.

Switching on and off

The light can be switched on and off using the light switch.

Dimming

The lamp is **not dimmable** as standard. However, since dimmable LEDs are installed, it can be converted to dimmable operation by replacing the transformer. Thanks to the click system, the transformer is easy to replace. You can buy the matching dimmable TRIAC transformer directly from us. After the replacement, the lamp can be dimmed via **trailing-edge phase-cut dimming**. For the conversion, a transformer is needed that has to be swapped out so that the lamp becomes dimmable.

FAQ

1 Is the MILIO TRIAC dimmable?

Not from the factory. With the TRIAC transformer, which you can buy from us, the MILIO can be converted to TRIAC dimming. For this, a TRIAC-compatible wall dimmer switch must be installed at your place.

2 How far can the MILIO be suspended?

The hanging height of the MILIO can be adjusted continuously up to a maximum of 200 cm.

3 Are the light sources replaceable?

The high-quality LEDs are permanently installed in the lamp. In our experience, however, it is usually the transformers rather than the LEDs themselves that are affected by defects in LED lamps. These can generally be replaced quickly. If you ever have any problems with this, we will of course be happy to help you.

4 Can luminaires with IP20 be used in the bathroom?

Lights with protection rating IP20 may only be used in the bathroom outside the protected zones. This means they are not suitable for direct use in the shower or above the bathtub. In dry areas, for example in the middle of the room or on the ceiling, they can however be used. For added safety, we recommend lights with at least protection rating IP44 in the bathroom.

5 Can I mount the light offset to the power connection?

Our luminaires do not have an additional outlet for a cable duct in the wall or ceiling plate as standard. They are designed to be mounted directly on the existing power connection.

If your power connection is not exactly where you want the luminaire to be, you can always drill a hole in the wall or ceiling panel of the luminaire to run a cable duct and mount the luminaire in an offset position.

Please note, however, that we do not accept any warranty for subsequent drilling. In addition, the luminaire cannot be exchanged after such a modification.

6 Is there a money-back guarantee?

You have a 30-day right of return with us.

Return policy: In the event of a complaint, we will of course cover the return costs for you and refund the full amount.

As we are a young, self-financed company and already bear the shipping costs to you, unfortunately we cannot also cover the costs of a regular return. If you send your lamp back within 30 days, you will receive the refund amount minus the return shipping costs.

For a stress-free return process, you can simply register your return via our returns portal. There you can keep track of the current status of your return at any time.
