Installation

The lamp arrives ready to assemble and can be set up right away. The light source is already included in the delivery. You will find all the information you need in the installation guide.

Switching on and off

The light can be switched on and off using the light switch.

Dimming

The lamp is TRIAC dimmable (i.e. via a TRIAC wall dimmer). The lamp can be dimmed using both leading-edge and trailing-edge phase control. Use either a dimmer marked with the symbols R or L (for leading edge) on the packaging or with the symbol C (for trailing edge). We recommend choosing a universal dimmer suitable for both leading-edge (R, L) and trailing-edge (C) dimming to ensure maximum flexibility and compatibility. Such a dimmer is usually marked with R, L and C.

Oriental-shaped glass shades.

TRIAC dimmable via the wall switch.

Multi-arm light above the dining table.

Oriental charm, reinterpreted for today

With its artistic design language, the VIDA pendant light brings a touch of oriental elegance into your home. The delicate glass design looks stylish and modern at once and sets an expressive accent in the room. VIDA thus combines exotic flair with contemporary clarity without being intrusive. An eye-catcher above the dining table, in the hallway or in the middle of the room that draws all eyes.

Two versions for your personal style

The VIDA pendant light comes in two refined variants: in glossy chrome with clear transparent glass or in elegant black chrome. The transparent version looks light and refined, while the dark version creates a striking, modern contrast. This way you choose the finish that best suits your interior. In both variants, the glass captures the light effectively and distributes it atmospherically throughout the room.

Mood lighting just the way you want it

Thanks to TRIAC dimmability, the VIDA pendant light can be smoothly dimmed via a compatible wall dimmer. This lets you adapt the light flexibly to every moment – from bright light for everyday life to subdued ambiance for relaxed evenings. The artistic glass design unfolds its special charm at every brightness level. Ideal for anyone who values individual lighting moods.

FAQ

1 Is the VIDA TRIAC dimmable?

Yes. The VIDA can be dimmed with a TRIAC wall switch. The switch has to be installed on your end; it is not included in the scope of delivery.

2 How far down can the VIDA be suspended?

The drop of the VIDA can be adjusted up to a maximum of 160 cm.

3 Is the VIDA smart home compatible?

No built-in interface. To control it via a smart home system, the transformer has to be swapped for a compatible model.

4 Are the light sources replaceable?

The high-quality LEDs are permanently installed in the lamp. In our experience, however, it is usually the transformers rather than the LEDs themselves that are affected by defects in LED lamps. These can generally be replaced quickly. If you ever have any problems with this, we will of course be happy to help you.

5 Can I mount the light offset to the power connection?

Our luminaires do not have an additional outlet for a cable duct in the wall or ceiling plate as standard. They are designed to be mounted directly on the existing power connection.

If your power connection is not exactly where you want the luminaire to be, you can always drill a hole in the wall or ceiling panel of the luminaire to run a cable duct and mount the luminaire in an offset position.

Please note, however, that we do not accept any warranty for subsequent drilling. In addition, the luminaire cannot be exchanged after such a modification.

6 Are small bubbles or irregularities in the glass a quality defect?

Each of our glass shades is made using a high-temperature forming process and is mouth-blown. This gives the shade its beautiful shape and creates a true one-of-a-kind piece that makes every lamp something special! Small bubbles or fine air inclusions may occur in the process – they are a typical hallmark of genuine craftsmanship and underline the uniqueness of every lamp. They are not a quality defect and affect neither the beauty nor the function of the product.

7 Is there a money-back guarantee?

You have a 30-day right of return with us.

Return policy: In the event of a complaint, we will of course cover the return costs for you and refund the full amount.

As we are a young, self-financed company and already bear the shipping costs to you, unfortunately we cannot also cover the costs of a regular return. If you send your lamp back within 30 days, you will receive the refund amount minus the return shipping costs.

For a stress-free return process, you can simply register your return via our returns portal. There you can keep track of the current status of your return at any time.
